alsecco EDITION CLINKER WDV system with glued clinker slips

Clinker brick houses are built to last and have a very long tradition in residential, industrial and commercial construction, especially in northern Germany. No wonder, because on the façade, the impact- and scratch-resistant material, which is extremely resistant to wind and weather, is a true all-rounder.

Today, clinker facades are modernly designed with high-quality clinker slips on façade insulation systems. A wide range of creative solutions are offered by the extensive edition Klinker. With it, builders, architects, planners and investors can design clinker facades exactly according to their individual ideas and designs. Whether it's an old or new building, a single-family home or a listed villa – edition Klinker offers individual solutions for every purpose in the form of different colours, formats and grouts. The clinker brick slips are simply glued to the façade insulation system.

The ETICS system has the following structure:

1. INSULATION

• Alsitherm EPS 032 Carbon - Expanded polystyrene insulation boards for alsecco façade systems

2. REINFORCEMENT Glass

• fibre mesh K - Reinforcement fabric for alsecco façade systems
• Armatop A - Adhesive and reinforcement compound for alsecco façade systems

• Laying mortar A - Mineral thin-bed adhesive for laying ceramic tiles and slabs, C 1 according to EN 12004

• Grout A - Mineral grout according to DIN EN 998-2 for ceramic coverings in alsecco façade systems

SYSTEM

• ETICS system with glued clinker slips (6 to 15 mm thick, brick slips up to 25 mm thick)

SURFACES

• Smooth or grained, hand-shaped look, coal firing

FORMATS

• NF, DF, 2DF, RF, WDF, long formats, special formats
• Versatile design by laying in a bond, e.g. wild bandage, lauter bond or block bond
• length maximum 60 cm

JOINTS

• Adhesive and grout can be coloured. Joint width 10 to 12 mm

THERMAL INSULATION

• EPS insulation (up to WLG 032)
• Mineral wool insulation (up to WLG 035)

FIRE BEHAVIOUR

• Flame retardant (with EPS insulation) or
• non-combustible (with mineral wool insulation)
