I-SYS is a holistic concept for innovative architectural solutions. By combining them with connections, connections and guides, stainless steel ropes become universal components. The material allows economical solutions – durable, robust, low-maintenance and easy to clean. The suspension cable system from CARL STAHL ARCHITEKTUR comprises over 1,000 individual parts, from press-on external threads to fork and eye solutions, for self-assembly on site or rolled up with prefabricated stainless steel cable systems. In combination with an extensive catalogue of fittings and rope diameter variations from 1 to 26 millimetres, almost unlimited application possibilities open up.
WIDE RANGE OF APPLICATIONS
The areas of application of I-SYS are versatile. The stainless steel cables adorn bridges, squares, railings and facades, demarcate uses from each other or mark structures in public space.
The I-SYS stainless steel cable system for railings enables individual shapes and solutions for the design of gaps on railings, balustrades or bridges. Formally reduced and filigree in aesthetics, the railing ropes made of stainless steel are both a securing and design element. They follow any pitch angle and are provided with clampable end connections for self-assembly. At danger points, the I-SYS stainless steel cable constructions serve as fall protection. The sturdy ropes and connections made of stainless steel provide support and protect against accidents. In addition, the stainless steel rope assemblies are used as suspension cables, wind braces or for the suspension of larger elements, such as curtain facades.
As a climbing system for green facades, I-SYS serves as a climbing aid for morning glory and creepers and offers them a secure hold. An individually adapted grid of parallel or cross-shaped stainless steel cables ensures controlled growth of the façade greening. The noble look ensures that the cable façade looks good as long as the greenery is still growing. As an optimal climbing aid, I-SYS enables extensive greening in any dimension. Weather-resistant, durable and low-maintenance, the cable structure holds the living building envelope in place for decades. And: The cable façade already looks good when the greenery is still growing.
However, I-SYS is not only designed for structural applications in architecture, but is also suitable for industrial applications such as mechanical and plant engineering, safety devices or the construction of chairlifts, as well as in the automotive, food industry and agricultural industries.

TESTED SAFETY
I-SYS has an externally monitored production control system by KIT, as well as a European Technical Assessment (ETA) for selected products at the German Institute for Construction Technology (DIBt). This makes it easier for building owners and planners to implement their I-SYS project, as it accelerates approval procedures, reduces costs and offers greater planning and implementation security.
