KS brick

KS-ORIGINAL GMBH

Description

KS facing bricks are available in different shapes and designs, as well as with smooth, rough or embossed surfaces. Embossed bricks are additionally fogged up, which means that the surface structure is more curved and gives the wall surface a greater depth effect.

KS bricks (Vb) are frost-resistant sand-lime bricks, for the production of which specially selected raw materials are used. KS structure is a collective term for stones that are given a rough, structured surface by splitting, crushing or embossing KS facing bricks.

Both types of stone for exterior or interior exposed masonry are available in several formats.

In principle, KS bricks for an object should be purchased from the same KS factory. On delivery, the delivery notes must be used by the site to check whether the bricks come from one factory and not just from the same manufacturer.

More Over

Delivery

    preferably
  • on one-way pallets Delivered wrapped in foil
  • Delivery
  • method ensures gentle handling during loading and unloading and protects against falling apart of the stone packages and against soiling
  • Transport
  • to the construction site by self-unloading special vehicles

Application

  • only KS facing bricks are to be used for exposed masonry subject to weather conditions, and backing bricks, regardless of compressive strength, are not suitable for this purpose.
  • for interior exposed masonry that is not exposed to frost, KS bricks can also be used if they are suitable for this purpose due to their visual nature
  • mortars matched to sand-lime bricks are to be used
  • in practice.
  • the stones remove part of the mixing water from the fresh mortar, which is why fresh mortar must be protected from "burning"
  • after masonry, the visible surfaces must be protected from strong sunlight and wind as well as from moisture and dirt
  • Acidification of KS bricks is not permitted
