Levolux's "Skyvane" is a non-retractable blind system specially designed for installation in vertical, horizontal, inclined or unusually shaped glass openings. Skyvane is suitable for internal and external applications to control solar heat harvesting, avoid excessive glare or control daylight. The Skyvane system is available with a range of slats that have been specially designed to provide extremely good light control in situations where no alternative can be used.

Technical Information
Stäger - Aluminium extruded profiles and injection-moulded parts are used to secure and operate the slats. Two different rack and pinion profiles are available – a standard profile, which is used in most situations, and a heavy-duty profile, which allows for greater distance between attachment points.
Drive Shaft – This connects the rack and pinion arms to the motor or gearbox so that the fins can be rotated from a fully open to a fully closed position.
Slats - The Skyvane system is available in 50mm, 75mm or 80mm slat widths, which are attached to the rack arm by means of injection moulded clips. In contrast to the 75 mm wide extruded aluminium fins, the 50 mm and 80 mm wide slats can be supplied in solid or perforated aluminium. All slats are available with an anodized or frosted finish, or alternatively the slats can be coated with a polyester powder coating in any standard color according to RAL.
Control options - Various control options are available, including manual operation via a gearbox and removable handle, or electric motor operation via a switch, individually or in groups. Customized control options, including fully automated and programmable systems that respond to changing solar radiation or indoor temperatures, or can be connected to a building management system (BMS), are also available.
