In the case of the load-bearing floor slab, as the name suggests, the floor slab absorbs the load of the entire building and distributes it to the soil below. Consequently, there are special stresses here. The full-surface insulation of the foundation slab offers complete thermal insulation and avoids thermal bridges. The rising perimeter insulation of the basement wall is directly connected to this, also without thermal bridges. This has the advantage that the basement of a building is completely and comprehensively covered with insulating material. In any case, the installation situation must be checked with regard to groundwater resources, installation depth, etc.
