Description

All-glass railings are one of the premier classes in parapet systems and are becoming increasingly important in modern architecture. They offer the greatest possible transparency, but are very cost-intensive. With the development of the modular BALARDO system, GLASSLINE revolutionized the market and made all-glass in the railing area more attractive and economical than ever before. To this day, BALARDO steel is the undisputed original and shapes the market offer worldwide with unique properties.

More Over

The basic element of BALARDO steel is the support profile with the load-bearing clamping system made of high-quality, galvanized steel. In it, the glass plates are adjusted with the specially developed clamping shoe and securely fixed throughout.

On

the building side, a connection from above or from the side is possible. In addition, there is the option of screwing or welding them.

BALARDO steel  shows a high degree of application flexibility in public and private construction projects as well as in use on the level and stairs. Its design strengths come into their own especially in raised floor structures, uneven surfaces and in applications where EIFS bridging is required.

The selection of handrails, which is available together with BALARDO steel , is elegant and high-quality. Suitable for every architectural style.

Application as fall-resistant glazing:

Vertical fall-resistant glazing is glazing that is inclined up to a maximum of 10° to the vertical. Category A fall-resistant vertical glazing is used to directly absorb spar loads. For example, fall-proof façade glazing or floor-to-ceiling glazing that does not have a load-bearing transom at spar height and is also not protected by a forward spar.

Fall-resistant vertical glazing of categories C3 and C1 is not used to transfer spar loads. In category C3, these are floor-to-ceiling glazing with a load-bearing spar in front. And in category C1, point-shaped railing infills on at least two opposite sides, e.g.
