LIAPOR Insulation Concrete

Liapor Schweiz Vertriebs GmbH

Description

Liapor insulating concrete is the ideal building material for modern, monolithic constructions and is therefore considered one of the building materials of the future. The state of the art in Liapor insulating concrete is the intelligent mixture, which is partly composed of Liapor expanded clay beads and on the other hand, instead of sand, of Liaver expanded glass granules.

More Over

Important component: Liaver expanded glass

Liaver expanded glass is a modern, versatile material that is obtained and manufactured from recycled glass using a patented process. In this process, the waste glass, or broken glass, is finely ground, mixed and formed into raw granulate. This raw granulate is sintered and foamed in a blasting furnace at temperatures of 750 to 900 degrees Celsius. The result is a thoroughly ecological product made from mineral raw materials – the Liaver expanded glass beads – manufactured in an environmentally friendly production process.

High insulating and insulating effect with low weight

Both components, Liapor expanded clay and Liaver expanded glass, are characterized by an extremely low specific weight. At the same time, they have a remarkably high compressive strength. Liapor insulating concrete achieves a weight of less than 1,000 kg/m3.

As with Liapor expanded clay, the Liaver expanded glass also results in the characteristic air pockets inside the expanded clay or expanded glass beads due to the high-temperature inflation process. These air pockets are something like the built-in temperature regulator in Liapor insulating concrete. They provide - especially in monolithic construction or the elimination of thermal bridges - for the remarkable insulation and insulation effect.

Liapor

insulating concrete looks like classic exposed concrete, or the natural aesthetics of Liapor insulating concrete opens up new possibilities and creative alternatives in design for architectural design. Thanks to its constructive properties, Liapor insulating concrete is suitable for a wide range of applications, but especially for buildings in monolithic construction, i.e. solid concrete and exposed concrete, in layered or sandwich construction. The beautiful, homogeneous surface also satisfies high aesthetic demands and predestines Liapor insulating concrete as exposed concrete for the construction of particularly characteristic single-family houses, as well as especially for residential, administrative and industrial buildings.

Energy savings

In

addition to the structural savings with monolithic construction - elimination of insulation and insulation layers, easier construction and shortening of the construction time - there are also sustainable energy savings when using Liapor insulating concrete.

Depending

on the desired compressive strength or statics and the desired thermal insulation value – both dependent on each other – the recipes and mixing ratios of the Liapor insulating concretes are individually adapted to the building structure to be constructed.
