Kerto® LVL Q-panel & L-panel

Metsä Group

Description

Load-bearing and stiffening planking of wall, ceiling and roof panels for timber houses in panel construction, roof and ceiling panes, rear-ventilated facades, curved surface structures.

Kerto® LVL Q-panel is a load-bearing and dimensionally stable laminated veneer lumber panel used for the most demanding applications. It will be used in Kerto-Ripa elements, which provide rigid and high-quality floor and roof structures.

More Over

The grain course of the individual veneer layers runs predominantly in the longitudinal and approx. 20% transverse direction.

Kerto® LVL Q-panel as roof and ceiling panes

Kerto® LVL Q-panel can be used as a panel, pane or as a beam in a wide variety of structures. As a roof and ceiling pane that simultaneously supports and stiffens Kerto LVL Q-panel, the Kerto® LVL Q-panel does not require bracing bonds. It allows particularly thin roof cantilevers and at the same time forms the roof and ceiling soffit. Notched beams can also be produced economically with Kerto® LVL Q-panel.

Standard sizes

Like all other Kerto products, Kerto® LVL Q-panel is known for its strength, shape and dimensional stability. Kerto® LVL Q-panel is available in the same standard sizes as Kerto® LVL S-beam. In addition, it is available in widths of 900 mm, 1200 mm, 1800 mm and 2500 mm. The thickness range is 21 and 75 mm in 6 mm increments.

Kerto® LVL L-panel for light and non-structural applications

The L-panel of the Kerto® LVL family is a new product, designed mainly for light and non-structural applications, with the possibility of customizing the dimensions according to customer requirements. L-panel is produced in large panel sizes, but can also be cut to size on request.

L-panel combines excellent technical properties with low weight and dimensional stability, while at the same time having good strength properties. L-panel consists of glued veneers, with about 20% of the veneers glued in the transverse direction. L-panel is the ideal choice for lightweight or non-load-bearing wall panels, ceiling panels, furniture, packaging, doors and windows. In specific applications, it can be used for lightweight load-bearing beams and columns.
