Whether sandstone, limestone, slate or granite – hardly any other façade material looks as noble, robust and durable as natural stone. A classic in representative commercial and commercial buildings, which is increasingly being used to accentuate high-quality residential buildings.

A particularly economical solution for the design of individual natural stone facades is offered by edition Naturstein. The light and thin natural stone façade panels with fabric laminated on the back can be glued to the façade insulation system without additional fastening. This saves money, enables rapid processing and opens up design freedom that would only be much more difficult to implement with heavy solid natural stone slabs.

edition Naturstein offers a unique variety of high-quality natural stones. Planners can choose between 17 standard grades and all natural stones suitable for façades.

System structure:

1.) INSULATION

• Alsitherm EPS 032 Carbon - Expanded polystyrene insulation boards for alsecco façade systems

2.) REINFORCEMENT

• fibre fabric K - Reinforcement fabric for alsecco façade systems
• Armatop A - Adhesive and reinforcement compound for alsecco façade systems

3.) BONDING

• Stone Laying Mortar - Two-component installation mortar for bonding natural stone in alsecco façade systems. Component A (powder), component B (liquid).

4.) SURFACE DESIGN

• Facade panel Stone - Natural stone slabs with adhesive coating on the back for decorative surface design of alsecco façade insulation systems
• Joint mortar Stone - Powdered joint mortar for the grouting of natural stone slabs.

SYSTEM

• ETIC system with glued, fabric-laminated natural stone slabs (12 mm thick)

SURFACES

• Granite, limestone, sandstone (up to 9 % water absorption)

STRUCTURES

• Polished, sanded or satin-finished (blasted and brushed), edge finish sawn, slightly honed or chamfered

FORMATS

• Large format up to 0.50 m², small format up to 0.12 m²
