Silka Therm Chine Stone

The Silka Therm chine stone is a real sand-lime brick with built-in thermal bridge minimisation. The Silka Therm chine stones are not only factory-pressed height levelling stones, but were also developed above all to meet the constantly advancing thermal insulation requirements – without losing the typical properties of sand-lime bricks (sound insulation, fire protection and load-bearing capacity). A low thermal conductivity of λ ≤ 0.33 W/(mK) also reduces the risk of condensation or mould formation due to an increased surface temperature.

Basic steps of processing

As a height compensation stone at the foot of the wall, it is usually applied in normal mortar MG III (< 3 cm), and on the wall head usually with Silka Secure thin-bed mortar.
