H+H flat blocks can be bricked particularly efficiently using the thin-bed mortar method with a joint thickness of only 1 mm. As a rule, the thin-bed mortar is only applied to the bearing joint, the butt joints are not mortared. Exception: In the case of fire walls, the bricking of flat lintels and special requirements for the basement masonry, the butt joints must also be mortared.
H+H flat blocks are produced in thicknesses from 115 to 200 mm with tongue and groove, in thicknesses from 240 to 500 mm with triple tongue and groove and from a thickness of 175 mm with handle aid.
