More Over
If the façade is to adorn a unique concrete design, RECKLI UNIQUE is the perfect choice. In the in-house carpentry workshop, a model for the concrete design is produced according to the drawings and wishes of the customer, which serves as a template for the structural formliner. Individual matrices have also proven their worth in the restoration of historic buildings, because they depict complicated motifs in exposed concrete in detail and are easy on the budget due to their reusability.
The manufacturing process:
The master mold is either modeled from plaster or computer-aided: image templates and digital drawings are converted into a file for the CNC milling machine on the computer. It mills the structure into a panel material. The plaster or milling model is sealed with a separating wax and provided with a formwork frame. A liquid elastomer is then poured onto the model to produce the structural die. After the plastic has hardened, the formwork frame can be removed. The high elasticity of the mould allows the structure to be reproduced in detail, making it so robust that it can be used several times for façade panels, up to 100 times. The formliner is glued to the formwork and waxed with release agent before the formwork can be poured with concrete. The formwork formliner can be poured with concrete in the precast plant or on site. After the concrete has hardened, the façade panel can be easily stripped. The die is ready for use again, up to 100 times, depending on the type.
