Description

Aesthetic Solar Roof Architecture – Also for Roof Renovation

More Over

The ultra-light and flexible, extremely robust solar modules are permanently laminated to the Kalzip surface. The underneath connection technology of the roof-integrated Kalzip AluPlusSolar solution thus reliably protects the plug connections and cables from external environmental influences such as moisture, snow, ice, UV rays and animals. Another visual advantage is that there are no annoying cable ducts or connections to be seen on roof surfaces.

The microlens-shaped surface, consisting of an ETFE film (ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene), which leads to the so-called light trap effect and thus to better absorption of the sun's rays, ensures more yield. By using the ETFE foil, the surface is not only dirt-repellent, but also glare-free.

Kalzip AluPlusSolar can be used to create a wide range of roof shapes, such as barrel, shed or monopitch roofs, as well as individually curved shapes. Kalzip AluPlusSolar can also be used for the entire building envelope and façade surfaces can be used "solar" up to a maximum inclination of 90 degrees. Kalzip offers architects planning options for designing environmentally conscious solar living spaces – economically, sustainably and aesthetically.

Planning information:

  • Design (electrics and fastening) according to Kalzip module wiring diagram
  • Delivery of a pre-assembled cable system for module interconnection
  • Low
  • total weight of approx. 6 kg/m²
