Description

CROSSFIX® is the first stainless steel substructure that can be used for horizontal and vertical support profiles. CROSSFIX® increases flexibility, simplifies assembly, saves valuable time and reduces your storage costs at the same time. The CROSSFIX® bracket is made of 100% stainless steel and thus significantly reduces the thermal bridge surcharge in the system. EJOT supplies a complete substructure system for all applications, including all the necessary information for installation. >Universally applicable Whether for fixed point or floating point mounting, CROSSFIX® is the console for vertical and horizontal installation, thus offering maximum flexibility for all applications. Thanks to its high flexibility, CROSSFIX® enables easy and fast processing and at the same time standard-compliant fastening options to all common substrates (e.g. concrete, solid and perforated bricks, wooden and steel substructures). 

The production of stainless steel requires a more moderate amount of energy and has a significantly lower environmental impact than the extraction of aluminium. The CROSSFIX® bracket is made of A4 stainless steel and thus enables Compared to aluminium, this is a significant reduction in the thermal bridge surcharge. CROSSFIX® enables significant savings in material and storage costs. 

The CROSSFIX® bracket is classified as non-combustible. Stainless steel is many times more stable than aluminium, so CROSSFIX® enables higher static load capacities.  Seismic tests confirm the dynamic load capacity of the CROSSFIX® console. 

The thermal expansion of aluminium is twice as great as that of steel (αT = 0.000024 m/m °C); the melting temperature of stainless steel is 1450 °C vs. 660 °C of aluminium. 

CROSSFIX® is ETA certified. This reduces the planning effort, creates cost certainty through clearly regulated calculation specifications and ensures greater safety in the event of complaints or accidents. In addition, the CROSSFIX® console has been certified by the Passive House Institute.
