Original water-struck brick clinker bricks and hand-shaped bricks according to DIN EN 771-1 (DIN 20000-401)

The "Original water-struck brick clinker" and "Hand-shaped bricks" are solid bricks produced using the water-struck process.

Properties:

  • non-right-angled prismatic formation of the shape
  • hard-fired core (so-called reduction core) inside the stone
  • non-right-angled prismatic formation of the heads (do not place them in window reveals, as the connecting joint to the window can only be sealed to a limited extent)
  • uneven surfaces with production-related grooves
  • torn surfaces with recesses
  • irregular edges
  • ,
  • burnings,
  • edge spalling,
  • hairline cracks in the surface
  • , sometimes not fully pressed out heads

  • cracks on the foot sides up to half of the stone:

These special properties and visual features are part of the normal appearance of our "Original Waterline Brick Clinker" and "Handform Clinker". The occurrence and frequency of these properties are not reproducible and therefore cannot be controlled in the production process. These optical properties occur randomly during the pressing process of the stones. They do not pose a risk of frost damage. Our products are frost-resistant.
