fermacell® Powerpanel HD

James Hardie Europe GmbH

Description

The fermacell® Powerpanel HD is a cement-bonded, glass-fibre-reinforced lightweight concrete slab with a sandwich structure. The middle layer contains lightweight aggregates in the form of expanded clay and recycled glass foam granules. As a result, the plates have a relatively low weight. Highly alkali-resistant glass fibers distributed over the entire slab cross-section form the reinforcement.

More Over

Application:

fermacell® Powerpanel HD is used in timber panel construction as direct planking for the static use of load-bearing/stiffening timber stud walls – especially as external wall planking. The unplastered Powerpanel HD offers temporary weather protection for 6 months with the HD joint technology and permanently effective weather protection with the subsequent application of the plaster system. In the application of the building end wall, the Powerpanel HD with a single-layer planking offers a fire resistance period of F90-B (from the outside) with the respective overall construction.

Properties:

  • Label-free, low in pollutants and emissions - tested by the eco-Institut Cologne
  • Easy workability: butt-jointed - for weather protection requirements with HD joint technology and with plaster system
