Description

The fermacell® Powerpanel TE consists of 2 12.5 mm thick fermacell® Powerpanel H2O panels bonded together at the factory. The two panels are offset from each other, creating a 50 mm wide stepped seam.

Application:

The fermacell® Powerpanel TE can be used as a dry screed in the renovation / modernisation of old buildings, but also in new buildings in bathrooms and damp rooms with high levels of moisture and water. In particular, for moisture stress class A in the area regulated by the building authorities in accordance with ZDBMerkblatt "Composite waterproofing - Instructions for the execution of composite waterproofing to be processed liquidly with cladding and coverings made of tiles and slabs for indoor and outdoor use", as of 08/2019.

Of course, the fermacell® Powerpanel TE is also suitable for lower or lower loads in the water exposure classes W0-I, W1-I in the area not regulated by the building authorities according to the Federal Association of the Gypsum Industry e.V. "Bathrooms, wet and damp rooms in timber construction and drywall construction", as of 04/2020.

Suitable floor coverings such as PVC, linoleum and tiles can be laid on fermacell® Powerpanel TE. In particular, porcelain stoneware tiles ≥ 9 mm can be installed in AWB 1 on Powerpanel TE with a 3rd layer of 12.5 mm thick fermacell® Powerpanel H2O slabs without format restrictions. The only prerequisite is the use of bound fills and the use of suitable adhesive systems. The elements are suitable for hot water and electric underfloor heating. The underfloor heating systems must be approved by the manufacturer for combination with fermacell® Powerpanel TE. *Definition of the areas of application for fermacell® screed elements based on DIN EN 1991-1-1/NA:2010-12

  • In the area of corridors and kitchens in hotels, schools, old people's homes as well as areas with tables, such as classrooms, cafés, etc. AWB 3* (permissible Single load 3.0 kN; Ab. Payload 4.0 kN/m2)

The elements are suitable for hot water and electric underfloor heating. The underfloor heating systems must be approved by the manufacturer for combination with fermacell® Powerpanel TE.
