Types of wood
Forall common types of wood, e.g. spruce, fir, beech, maple, oak, walnut, cherry, etc.
Processing
The substrate must be clean, dry, free of grease and free of water-repellent substances. Wood surfaces that have already yellowed must be sanded down to light wood. PegmaColor UV protection for wood has good penetration and can be applied to wood using simple methods, such as painting, dipping, soaking or sponge. A one-time thin application is completely sufficient. After a drying time of at least 24 hours, woods can be further treated with oils, glazes, varnishes or stains.
Please note: With the large number of surface treatment agents on the market, in-house tests are required. Increased drying times are to be expected for a few picklings.
Consumption
of PegmaColor UV protection for wood is very economical
: 1 litre of PegmaColor for 10 - 15 m² (depending on the absorbency of the wood).
Environmental behaviour
PegmaColor is classified as harmless to health and environmentally friendly when used as intended. Solvents are not included.
