More Over
The
SOPRAVAP EVA 35 is mainly laid on concrete as an elastomeric bitumen vapour barrier membrane in accordance with the Technical Rules for the Planning and Execution of Waterproofing with Polymer Bitumen and Bitumen Membranes (abc der Bitumenbahnen vdd e.V.), Flat Roof Guidelines (ZvdH e.V.) and DIN 18531 et seq. If the vapour barrier membrane is to be used as a "temporary temporary seal" at the same time, the homogeneously welded seam formations must be manufactured and tested with particular care. We would like to point out that a temporary temporary waterproofing has lower performance characteristics than a correspondingly dimensioned waterproofing. The installation is carried out by welding.
Processing
The elastomer bitumen vapour barrier membrane, SOPRAVAP EVA 35, is partially or fully welded to the substrate with a suitable torch parallel to each other and with a transverse seam set. The track can also be laid loose if necessary; in this case, only the longitudinal and transverse seam overlaps must be welded over the entire surface. The longitudinal seam cover is at least 0.08 m, the transverse seam cover is at least 0.10 m.
When handling the open flame, the regulations of the building and trade association must be observed during processing.
Processing recommendations:
Storage, transport & durability
The rolls must be stored upright on a flat surface. The pallets must not be stored on top of each other! Protect from sunlight, heat and moisture (rain, snow, etc.) for the duration of storage. During the cold season, the material must be stored at >+5°C for at least 12 hours before processing.
Disposal
Waste from polymer bitumen and bitumen membranes (European Waste Catalogue – EWC number 17 03 02 "Bitumen mixtures") is disposed of in accordance with the current version of the Circular Economy and Waste Act.
