Vandersanden BDF Meldorf 7-slot and NF Meldorf B-hole

Vandersanden Steenfabrieken NV

Description

Meldorf (451A1) is a facing clinker that is produced using the extrusion process.

In this production process, the stones are formed with a vacuum press. A continuous beam of clay, the "strand", is extruded. The strand is then cut fully automatically into the desired stone size. Extrusion bricks are characterized by their uniform appearance and expressive colors.

100% natural raw materials

High-quality marching clay forms the basis of these waterline bricks in clinker quality. The production method of the water-struck technique gives the surface of the bricks a slightly grained, but unsanded brick look. Kiln firing, sometimes with coal, and a high temperature up to the sintering limit gives the clinker its typical and unique play of colours and unmistakable character.
