Description

As monolithic-looking concrete slats, formparts made of fibreC glass fibre reinforced concrete offer a high degree of flexibility and a wide range of design options for innovative building envelopes. The shaped concrete elements with an optimal fastening system refine glass facades and serve as sophisticated privacy and sun protection.

The curved elements are tailor-made as a single piece and are available with L or U cross-section, as round arches and special shapes with a length of up to 5 metres. Due to the low weight of the molded parts and their high spans, less substructure is required. They offer an economical solution for the building envelope. Fiberglass concrete is a natural material. Its raw materials, which originate from nature, create a special surface appearance that is characteristic of concrete. With the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certifications, Rieder sets itself high standards in environmental protection. The Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) provides precise key figures for the life cycle assessment.
