Description

The blaugelb EPS insulation boards made of a highly compressed EPS (expanded polystyrene) can be used for the best possible heat and moisture protection in the area of windows and facades. An essential area of application for blaugelb EPS insulation boards is in passive houses/low-energy houses/thermal renovation for the highest demands. The blue-yellow insulation boards achieve a continuous homogeneous insulation, which ensures that no valuable heating energy is lost. This external insulation keeps the heat in the living space. The insulation from the outside keeps the heat in the masonry and thus uses the storage capacity of the blaugelb insulation board EPS material.

The blue-yellow insulation boards can be fastened mechanically. Thermal bridge-free installation on a steel beam can be carried out with the blaugelb Hybrid Polymer Power Fix, among other things. The blaugelb EPS insulation boards are absolutely insensitive to moisture and therefore the houses insulated with blaugelb EPS insulation boards are not at risk of mould. The higher a house is insulated, the higher the surface temperature of the inside of the outer walls and the lower the risk of condensation and mould formation. The high-density EPS material is not a breeding ground for mould, does not rot and retains its properties over time.
