Ecomur flex façade elements

Stahlton Bauteile AG

Description

Designing with glass fibre reinforced concrete

Thanks to new production processes, Stahlton is able to produce technically and visually flawless versions of Ecomur flex façade elements made of glass fibre reinforced concrete in almost all geometries. This opens up the possibility for the architect to set individual accents with design elements in the façade.

More Over

Mineral composite:

Fiberglass concrete is a composite material made of a mineral fine concrete matrix and alkali-resistant glass fibers as reinforcement. The glass fibre does not require a concrete cover for corrosion protection, which enables the production of thin-walled components. Due to its low material consumption and mineral composition, glass fibre reinforced concrete is an ecological building material. From the processing to the disposal of fiberglass concrete, no pollutants are released. Due to its defined diameter of usually > 13 μm, the textile glass fibre used for glass fibre reinforced concrete is considered harmless to health. Characteristic values of the glass fibre reinforced concrete Ecomur (GFB) and glass fibre lightweight concrete Ecomur (GFLB).

Designing with Ecomurflex façade elements :

The production of three-dimensional elements is a discipline that is only possible thanks to flexible and creative production methods. Due to the variety of executed objects with complex components and the experience gained from them, Stahlton Bauteile AG can fall back on a variety of proven and efficient manufacturing processes.

Example: Spatial geometries, structured elements Elements with radii, spatial curves, textured surfaces or individual perforations.
