Sloping roofs, especially wooden roof constructions, often have limited load reserves. Pitched green roofs – such as our green roof system pitched roof 5-15° – are therefore usually carried out as thin-layer extensive greening.

With a roof pitch of up to a maximum of 15°, single-layer extensive greening is possible without surface shear protection on the SSV 800 structural and storage fleece. With flow lengths of more than 6 m and smooth plastic waterproofing, there is a risk that the green roof structure can slip with roof pitches of 10° or more, for example during heavy rainfall events. To prevent this, however, constructive measures should be taken to prevent shear protection.
