10-year warranty

ME220 is part of our i3 waterproofing system and can therefore be combined with many other waterproofing products. For waterproofing with our i3 system, we offer a 10-year functional warranty (see data sheet).

Execution (more detailed information can be found in the data sheet)

• The planning of the connection dimension (materials and movements must be taken into account)
• The adhesive surfaces must above all be dry and free of oil, grease, dust or other anti-adhesive components.
• Coat the surfaces to be bonded (foil and/or substrate) with the OT015 EPDM foil adhesive or the CT113 EPDM foil adhesive.
• We recommend a substrate and overlap adhesive of 50 mm (depending on the construction situation, further measures are necessary to prevent the film from slipping off – in accordance with standardization)
• If necessary, let the adhesive air off, press it down carefully with a pressure roller.
• In principle, the foil must be installed without tension.
• For overlap bonding, we recommend the Primer ME902 spray primer.
• We recommend a primer with ME901 Butyl & Bitumen Primer, ME902 Butyl & Bitumen Spray Primer or ME904 Butyl & Bitumen Primer Eco, especially on highly porous and moist substrates as well as at very low temperatures.
