Description

ME501 is a particularly tear-resistant, moisture-variable film for waterproofing work in the area of windows and façades on almost any surface. Due to its moisture-variable properties, it can be used both indoors and outdoors (no risk of confusion) and meets the recommendations of the RAL Quality Assurance Association FDKS.

ME501 is a premium product that is used for airtight and driving rain-proof sealing of joints and connections for windows and facades. Five variants of ME501 ensure that a suitable film is always available for various types of installation and construction site situations.

The VV version of the ME501 is self-adhesive over the entire surface with a weatherproof special self-adhesive.

Material: Composite of a moisture-variable functional membrane with spunbond fabric and a self-adhesive or EPDM piping for attachment to the frame.
Material thickness: 0.6 mm / 0.9 mm (VV)
Temperature resistance: - 40°C to + 80°C
Building material class: Class B2 (normally flammable - DIN 4102)
DGNB: Registration code PCLTRM; Criteria Matrix No.44 – Quality Level 4, SVHC < 0.1%; is manufactured without halogenated flame retardants, solvent-free and not using (H)CFCS/CKW

10 years warranty

ME501 is part of our i3 waterproofing system and can therefore be combined with many other sealing products. For waterproofing with our i3 system, we offer a 10-year functional warranty (see data sheet).

The planning of the joint dimension (materials and movements must be taken into account)
Above all, the adhesive surfaces must be dry and free of oil, grease, dust or other anti-adhesive components.
Roll carefully with a pressure roller.
In principle, the foil must be installed without tension.
The foil can be plastered over with commercially available mortars -

the foil must then always be processed in such a way that the symbol imprint is legible.
