Description

The lashing mandrel is used to secure the position of precast reinforced concrete elements and at the same time establishes a constructive connection between two concrete elements.

More Over

The lashing mandrel is used to secure the position of precast reinforced concrete elements (e.g. walls). The angle construction consists of a flat steel with a welded-on mandrel made of reinforcing steel and is available both with and without fasteners.

The lashing mandrel establishes a constructive connection between two concrete elements. Before the element to be secured is mounted, it must be inserted into the mandrel sleeve provided for this purpose (e.g. PHILIPP Mandrel Sleeve Article No. 72DH__) (see Figure 2). If the element is aligned at the prescribed position, it can be secured by the hole in the lug mandrel, e.g. by means of a screw connection (see Figure 3).

Technical Information

The lug mandrel is available in both a bare metallic design, hot-dip galvanized and primed (light rust protection).
