Alucobond Plus has been specially developed for higher fire protection requirements. Due to the mineral core, Alucobond Plus aluminium composite panels achieve higher fire classifications. The core is flame retardant and offers the same proven product properties of the Alucobond family, such as flatness, deformability, weather resistance and easy processing.
Technical Information
ALUCOBOND® PLUS circular is made with a recycled content of 89% aluminium. Thanks to the mass balance method, the recycled content can be significantly increased without compromising on quality or processability.
Benefits: Reduction of CO₂ emissions: The CO₂ emissions of the cover plates have been reduced by 52% compared to conventional processes. Circular
economy: Production waste is recycled, the aluminium is melted down again and used for new panels.
Short transport routes: With transport distances of less than 15 kilometres between the recycling plant and the manufacturer, we further minimise the ecological footprint.
Environmentally friendly and efficient: The use of secondary aluminium saves fossil raw materials and reduces greenhouse gas emissions without the need for adjustments to existing processing plants.
