The AquaDrain® SD step drainage reliably protects outdoor stairs made of ceramic and natural/cast stone from efflorescence caused by backwater and frost damage. It can be used as drainage in the middle bed, on (drain) mortar or on mortar strips for block steps or on drain mortar in combination.

Application: For outdoor stairs in private and public areas.
Types of flooring: Rubbers that are recommended by the flooring manufacturer for the respective area of application and the respective type of flooring installation are suitable.
Substrates:
Substrates must be level, load-bearing and firm. They must not be springy or compressible.
Unevenness > 4 mm must be compensated for.
Load capacity AquaDrain® SD: 2,000 kg/m2
Drainage capacity AquaDrain® SD: up to 0.72 l/(m*s) at 1% gradient
Insulation: Pressure-resistant thermal insulation, cavity-free and not bonded to the substrate in a springy or compressible manner.
