More Over

The yellow Main sandstone is valued for its characteristic colour and texture, but above all for its proven, frost-proof quality. The appealing old town of Bamberg and many other charming villages are to a large extent characterized by the charm of this natural stone. Numerous historical objects bear witness to this. Due to its good physical and technical properties, as well as its tested and confirmed weather resistance, it is particularly suitable for facades as masonry constructions in outdoor areas.

The Bucher quarry has been mined for several centuries and is now one of the most productive quarries with yellow medium-grained sandstone in Germany.

The regional Bucher sandstone is a particularly sustainable building material.
