More Over

The green Main sandstone, also known as Sander reed sandstone, is particularly valued due to its characteristic color and texture, as well as its versatile applications. In numerous historical and modern objects, this material was and is used both indoors and outdoors. Due to the physical and technical properties of this stone, the tested and confirmed weather resistance is another important criterion.

The Sander reed sandstone quarry has been mined for over 1000 years and is now one of the last active quarries of the green Main sandstone in Germany.

The regional Sander sandstone is a particularly sustainable building material.
