ZinCo Drainage Element Floraset® FS 75

ZinCo GmbH

Description

Reversible drainage element made of expanded polystyrene rigid foam (EPS); manufactured without CFCs and without HBCD; for use in extensive and simple intensive greening on flat and pitched roofs; Drainage capacity is above the requirements of DIN 4095 for the normal case; large knobs downwards: on 0° roofs to bridge puddles; small knobs downwards: on pitched roofs up to 25° inclination and for extremely light greening on flat roofs with slopes; Pressure-resistant.

More Over

According to DIN 4095, drainage layers must be arranged on ceilings that are to be covered with earth so that excess water can be safely drained away. As a rule, drainage layers are applied over the entire surface, not only under greenery, but also under pavements, terraces, play areas, etc. Floradrain® FD 60 neo, Stabilodrain® and Elastodrain® can even be used under pavements. With correspondingly high drainage elements, puddles can be bridged or the underside sewer system can be used for impoundment irrigation. This is of particular interest for intensive greening on zero-degree roofs. Drainage elements of the Floratherm® type even have a "general building authority approval" as additional thermal insulation.

Installation Instructions

This installation instructions describe the essential steps of using this product. In addition, please observe the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular the provisions of occupational health and safety.

If there is a risk of storms, the installation should not take place.

1) Installation:

The Floraset® FS 75 panels can be used on both sides and are installed jointly. When used on flat roofs, the installation is carried out with the studs facing downwards and when used in the pitched roof area (up to 25° roof pitch) with the studs upwards.

On flat roofs, one fleece button per m² is recommended for selective attachment of the filter fleece to be laid on it. To do this, a small incision is made in the filter fleece through which the fleece button is inserted. This is then pressed into the drainage element.

After installation, the drainage elements must be covered immediately (UV protection!) and secured against drifting.

2) Cutting:

The Floraset® plates can be cut with an (electric) foxtail. When cutting, care must be taken to ensure that the layers that have already been laid must not be damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.

The drainage elements must be cut out in a circle over roof drains, about 1 cm larger than the roof gully all around.

Tool recommendation: Hand-held circular saw
