ZinCo Retention Spacer RS 60

ZinCo GmbH

Description

High-performance and extremely transport-friendly spacer element made of profiled plastic for use on retention green roofs on roof surfaces without slope; made of deep-drawn RC polyolefin, with special connecting nubs on the front and long sides.

More Over

According to DIN 4095, drainage layers must be arranged on ceilings that are to be covered with earth so that excess water can be safely drained away. As a rule, drainage layers are applied over the entire surface, not only under greenery, but also under pavements, terraces, play areas, etc. Floradrain® FD 60 neo, Stabilodrain® and Elastodrain® can even be used under pavements. With correspondingly high drainage elements, puddles can be bridged or the underside sewer system can be used for impoundment irrigation. This is of particular interest for intensive greening on zero-degree roofs. Drainage elements of the Floratherm® type even have a "general building authority approval" as additional thermal insulation.

Installation Instructions

This installation instructions describe the essential steps of using this product. In addition, please observe the relevant standards and guidelines, in particular the provisions of occupational health and safety. If there is a risk of storms, the installation should not take place.

1) Installation:

Retention spacer RS 60 elements are routed upwards with the ventilation openings (one hole per stud). The installation is carried out in a bond, and the RS 60 elements have connecting seams all around. The elements must be laid in such a way that the smaller fold rests in the larger one. This leads to a specific installation direction that must be maintained throughout the installation. Arrows are embossed on the edges to indicate the direction of installation.

After installation, the RS 60 elements must be covered immediately (UV protection!). To secure the elements against blowing away, it makes sense to weigh them down with substrate bags, for example.

2) Cutting:

The elements can be cut with a commercial angle grinder, electric cutter or hot wire. When cutting, care must be taken to ensure that the layers that have already been laid are not damaged under any circumstances! If damage does occur, it must be reported and repaired immediately.

The RS 60 elements are to be cut out above roof drains according to the drain size.
