Description

Profile system with floor-to-ceiling span for the visible attachment of large-format façade panels, e.g. made of fibre cement, aluminium composite panels or HPL.

This profile system is suitable for clothing materials from:

Alpolic, Alucobond, Aluform, Arpa, Carea, Cembrit, Ceramica Mayor, Equitone, Etalbond, Eurocem, Fundermax, KME, Larson, Laukien, Maas, Novelis, Prefa, Resopal, Rheinzink, Rieder, Rockpanel, Swisspearl, Taktl, Trespa and VM Zink.

ALKAPO offers a much higher load-bearing capacity through the use of box-shaped load-bearing profiles and is used when anchoring can only be carried out in the respective floor slabs. A substructure system based on ALKAPO consists of vertical support profiles, U-wall brackets and optional accessories. The wall brackets are made of aluminium or stainless steel, depending on the thermal requirements. Depending on the static requirements, you can choose between the ALKAPO 275 and ALKAPO 350 support profiles.

The cladding elements are attached to the support profiles with screws or rivets.

The support profiles are connected to the wall brackets with rivets or screws. Here, sliding points absorb horizontal loads (wind) and fixed points take horizontal and vertical loads (dead weight). In the sliding points, constraint-free installation takes place in vertical slotted holes. A fixed point is arranged for each support profile.

To minimise thermal bridges, Thermostop elements are available as thermal breaks.
