FOAMGLAS PC® 56 Glue

Deutsche FOAMGLAS® GmbH

Description

PC® 56 can be used to glue FOAMGLAS® panels to concrete and masonry, to glue two FOAMGLAS® sheets together and as a surface filler of FOAMGLAS® insulation materials.

More Over

PC® 56 is a solvent-free two-component reaction adhesive based on a plastic-coated bitumen emulsion for component A and powder for component B.

Mixing ratio by weight

  • 3 parts component A, 1 part component B.

Pre-treatment of the substrate

The substrate must be clean, dry and free of grease, rust, dust, oil, moisture and peeling paint. Surfaces contaminated with formwork oil must be pretreated accordingly. Cement plasters should be stable and adherent. On an absorbent substrate, a primer of PC® EM or 1 vol. part of the liquid component diluted with 10 parts of water is required.

Delivery form and storage

  • Container with 28 kg (net content) – consisting of 21 kg liquid component and 7 kg powder
  • Store in a well-sealed container in a cool and dry place.
  • Protect from heat and direct sunlight.
  • Protect from frost.
