The following surface finishes are possible:

• raw or steel grain blasted plus zinc dust paint SA21/2 or
• steel grain blasted plus zinc dust paint SA21/2 and color coated. (Colour as desired)

The ORSO-V reinforced concrete composite columns thus meet the highest static and aesthetic requirements.

In project planning, the static design of the heavy-duty prefabricated columns is particularly challenging. In addition to the design of the optimal cross-sections and the inclusion of base and head plates, conduction structures, bracket torques or horizontal forces (impact), the various bearing conditions are taken into account.

The scope of services of Aschwanden AG also includes the preparation of a price offer, based on the load values and boundary conditions provided by you.

The engineering department of Aschwanden AG also takes care of the constructive design of the support areas (force application), the implementation of the normal force in the ceiling area, the ceiling support and the solution of the punching shear problem; i.e. we guarantee you an integral project processing.

In principle, the use of the Aschwanden design software is recommended for the design of ORSO-V columns. This is provided to the user free of charge. 

In the case of supports, the applied normal force is generally decisive. However, additional effects such as column clamping torques or horizontal loads can also occur, which must be taken into account in the design.
