KS supplementary products

KS chins

are used to compensate for the height of the wall base or wall head.  KS chins are supplementary stones in accordance with DIN EN 771-2 and DIN 20000-402.

KS thermal insulation bricks

KS thermal insulation bricks are thermally optimised sand-lime bricks in accordance with DIN EN 771-2 and DIN 20000-402. They are produced using a natural lightweight aggregate. as a rule, they are offered as solid bricks in compressive strength class 20 and a rated thermal conductivity value of 0.33 W/(m·K), regionally also with other stone properties. In most cases, KS thermal insulation blocks are used on geometrically determined thermal bridges, such as wall bases of external and internal walls over unheated basements, foundation slabs or ventilated crawl spaces.

KS U-Shells

KS U-Shells are lime-sand moulded bricks in accordance with DIN EN 771-2 and DIN 20000-402. For technical reasons, they deviate from the shape of a closed brick. KS-U-shells are used, for example, for ring beams, lintels, columns and installation slots in masonry and are offered as a supplement for load-bearing and non-load-bearing masonry as well as for facing masonry.

KS lintels

KS lintels are prefabricated components for covering openings. They are offered prefabricated in accordance with general building authority approval. Both flat lintels and precast lintels can be used.

KS-E-Bricks

KS-E-Bricks are KS products in accordance with DIN EN 771-2 and DIN 20000-402 with continuous vertical installation ducts at intervals of 12.5 or 25 cm. They are to be masoned in such a way that continuous channels are created over the entire wall height of a storey. After completion of the walls, empty pipes for installation can be pulled into these ducts from the upper ceiling. With this design, installation cables do not have to be milled, but are protected directly in the wall.
