More Over
The Ancon 500 system is a new high-performance tie rod system that is available in diameters from 8 mm to 42 mm, both in normal mild steel and stainless steel.
All components of the system are available with a choice of finishes that meet both the corrosion resistance requirements and the high aesthetic requirements of many architectural projects. The bar material of this system has a minimum yield strength of 500 N/mm2.
CE mark
The production of the Ancon tie rod system is carried out in accordance with EN 1090: "Execution of steel structures and aluminium structures".
In applications where stainless steel has been chosen as the material, surface finish is usually an important factor. The standard version of Ancon's bar stock is brightly drawn, but can also be polished by hand if necessary. The clevis and locking nuts can also be supplied anodic polished, brushed or hand-polished.
With the stainless steel tie rod system, insulation is supplied as standard to allow mounting on a connection plate made of uneven material. Each stainless clevis is supplied with two clear, self-adhesive PET (polyester) washers that can be placed around the hole on either side of the connection plate. The stainless bolt is PTFE coated.
