KORODUR Primer PC

KORODUR Westphal Hartbeton GmbH & Co. KG

Description

Primer for pre-treatment

for self-leveling coatings

KORODUR PC is a liquid, solvent-free, one-component, water-soluble synthetic resin dispersion for the pre-treatment of absorbent substrates for self-leveling NEODUR Level coatings.

More Over

Application

KORODUR PC is used for priming absorbent substrates inside and outside to protect subsequent materials from too rapid water extraction, as well as an adhesive primer on smooth, dense substrates and is suitable as a mortar additive for thermal stress in outdoor areas. KORODUR PC is especially suitable as a primer for cementitious substrates for self-leveling coatings such as NEODUR Level, NEODUR Level AU and LevelFlor.

properties

  • adhesion very
  • economical
  • can be used on almost all substrates
  • suitable for underfloor heating
  • ready to use
  • water dilutable
  • solvent-free
  • low emissions, therefore environmentally friendly
  • inside and outside

Processing

  • Substrate: Prepare the substrate by milling and/or shot blasting before installation. Any existing cracks, breakouts and damaged joints must be professionally repaired. The substrate must be load-bearing, firm, clean, dry, crack-free and free of loose parts, oils, greases or other adhesion-reducing impurities.

Surface tensile strength:

  • without driving stress ≥ 1.0 N/mm2
  • with driving stress and/or outdoors ≥ 1.5 N/mm2
The

requirements of DIN 18365 and DIN 18560 apply.

  • Processing: Stir KORODUR PC before use. The primer must be thinned according to the area of application (see mixing ratio). KORODUR PC is applied to the prepared substrate with a roller, brush, broom or rubber wiper. Avoid puddling. In the case of absorbent substrates, the primer should be applied in a mixing ratio of 1:3 to 1:4 the day before coating to prevent bubbles from forming in the coating. At the time of laying LevelFlor, NEODUR Level or NEODUR Level AU, KORODUR PC must have dried sticky.
