Description

X-TEND is predestined for lightweight architecture. The stainless steel rope net extends the static advantages of the rope into the spatial dimension. The intelligent connection of stainless steel ropes and clamps allows for a wide range of forms of prestressed cable net constructions. The counter-directional curvature of the ropes creates spatial structures that are retained even under heavy load. In this way, the architectural design intention can be reconciled with safety aspects.

All structural structures with X-TEND are characterized by a large load-bearing capacity and span with low weight. High-quality stainless steel ensures durability.

Without the risk of frequency or noise generation, X-TEND can also be used outdoors on large surfaces with three-dimensional curvature. Depending on the mesh size, incidence of light and perspective, the high-quality rope net changes its appearance: X-TEND offers various reflections and views, creating a fascinating interplay of transparency and slightly iridescent surfaces.

X-TEND Product variety

X-TEND2

X-TEND2 as a railing system is made of X-TEND with 1.5 mm or 2 mm stainless steel cables and different mesh sizes, with net meshes from 40 to 80 mm being the most commonly used. The stainless steel frames with a diameter of 21.3 mm x 2 mm are manufactured in both rectangular and diamond shapes for stairs, usually with a pitch angle of 25 to 35°. Special shapes are possible on request.

X-TEND3

X-TEND stainless steel rope nets consisting of rope ø 1.5mm or 2.0mm and mesh sizes of 40, 50 or 60 mm are internally framed in frames made of edging profiles. The slotted stainless steel edging profiles are available in various versions. The finished stretched frames are manufactured according to the customer's dimensions, as a rectangle or with polygonal geometry (bevel frames, transitions). Long lengths can be made with intermediate bars.

X-TEND COLOURS

X-TEND with coloured stainless steel cables made of emission-free polymer layer Rope diameter ø 1.5/2/3 mm, black also in ø 1.0 mm The clamps can be ordered with an inox finish or blackened.

CXS KITS

Railing by the metre - easy to install

For

many railing fillings, the same system is always available, which can be installed and adapted quickly and easily. The X-TEND CXS kits are available in lengths of 5, 10 and 25m and can be ordered in heights of 72cm or 96cm with all accessories as a ready-made package.
