All Enkadrain® mats are butt-butted, i.e. no additional area has to be calculated for the overlap. The separating/filter nonwovens and the concrete-tight layer, which are bonded to the core, have overlapping edges approx. 10 cm wide on opposite sides. The mats are easy to cut with a box cutter and are usually attached point by point (plastic rondelles and nails). If it is a decoupling function (impact sound, structure-borne noise, etc.), the mats must not be attached.
