Our EPDM rubber is the right choice for your green roof: it is ecologically harmless and highly environmentally friendly. In contrast to some other roofing membranes, NovoProof® does not contain any volatile plasticizers and retains permanent elasticity. Where, for example, bituminous waterproofing is multi-layered, our tarpaulin, which has been proven to be robust for over 40 years, is single-layer and at the same time waterproofing and root protection, which is also free of root toxins. With the help of our ThermoFast® joining technology, a stable and tight seal for your green roof is connected, whose openings, connections and connections are safe for decades to come. Cool in summer, warm in winter: green roofs provide three times better indoor temperatures. Drainage layer, substrate and vegetation reduce solar radiation. Due to adiabatic cooling, the evaporation effect in the green roof, the roof temperature also drops. Instead of 80° C and more, the roof may only have 30° C, and inside it simply stays cool longer. In winter, the holistically better U-value of a green roof also ensures less heat loss and thus reduces heating costs.
