We have been working with clay since 1755 and have a comprehensive understanding of our material and of the production of stoneware, porcelain stoneware and earthenware of the highest quality. In our five German production facilities, we are constantly refining our recipes for mixing clay, feldspar, fireclay, kaolin and water. As a natural material that transitions from plastic to solid in carefully monitored firing processes, clay offers endless possibilities for the production of ceramic products that help to make architecture durable, sustainable and beautiful.

We know how to make great tiles. Nevertheless, we are constantly working to make it even better. Craftsmanship and new technologies come together to create innovative anti-slip surfaces for wet areas and the development of dissipative ceramic floors for electrostatic areas. We invest in health and hygiene, as evidenced by our sustainable Hytect technology, which is used in almost every product we make. Sustainable
The demands on construction are growing continuously. Builders, planners and users are making new demands that also take greater account of future developments. Energy efficiency, resource conservation and climate change are the keywords that have a decisive influence here. Agrob Buchtal is aware of its responsibility to build sustainably and supports sustainable construction not only through its membership in the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB). As part of an environmental product declaration according to ISO14025 at industry level, we decided early on to make all ecological product data important for the planning process of a sustainable building transparent. For example, energy recovery in production as well as the processing and recycling of kiln and dry quarry play a role.
