The Mayr-Melnhof Holz Group, headquartered in Leoben, was founded in 1850 and is owned by F. Mayr-Melnhof-Saurau Industrie Holding GmbH. The company is divided into the areas of sawn timber and further processing. The three sawmill locations are located in Leoben (Austria), Paskov (Czech Republic) and Efimovskij (Russia). Wood processing takes place at five locations in Gaishorn (Austria), Reuthe (Austria), Richen (Germany), Wismar (Germany) and Olsberg (Germany). The timber construction production programme of Mayr-Melnhof Holz includes glulam and special components, glulam ceilings, cross-laminated timber and concrete formwork technology.
