Bracket Anchor / Angle Bracket Anchor

The transfer of vertical loads from curtain wall facades is carried out by means of bracket anchors or angle bracket anchors, which are attached to the load-bearing outer wall at certain points via dowels or via a rail system.

The angle bracket anchors are attached to the rail at a statically necessary distance and serve as the basis for the masonry of the facing shell. In addition, roll layers or lintel precast reinforced concrete elements can be fastened with slips via wire anchors below the bracket.

More about Bracket Anchors and Angle Bracket Anchors

A continuous angle rail is attached to the bracket anchors. This means that complete interceptions can even be implemented in the corner area of a building. Depending on the fastening situation and the associated wall distances, wall lengths and height positions, gusset plate (middle sheet metal part) and the angle length are individually adjusted.

The bracket anchors are made of stainless steel and are adjustable. This enables an infinitely variable compensation of construction tolerances. Shell spacing from 40 to 200mm* can be realized.

Notes on planning

Individual bracket anchors in conjunction with impact anchors / dowels can also be used to create inclined wall surfaces.

*In buildings with increased requirements due to increased thermal insulation, wall distances of over 200mm can also be realized.
