Glass pyramid

Glass pyramids usually consist of aluminum profiles with insulating glass, whereby acrylic glass pyramids are also produced (in contrast, "pyramid-shaped skylights" only have an outer pyramid-shaped plastic shell, without profiles on the ridges). Installation is carried out on modular uprisings that are integrated into the flat roof waterproofing. In addition to the standard version, special glazing is also offered for better insulation value, increased sun or sound protection.

Glass pyramids are series products and are usually square pyramids with a 30° or 45° inclination. Among other things, steeper pyramids, polygons and rectangular hipped roof attachments are also offered as modules in the same system as the glass pyramids. They are available rigidly or ventilated and usually in the nominal sizes 60 x 60 cm – 200 x 200 cm.
