In multi-layer block construction , vertical, rectangular planks are lined up and interlocked with each other, the shape of the toothing and the type of connections differ depending on the manufacturer. The gearing technology makes it possible to dispense with glue and metal connections of all kinds and thus a consistently ecological construction method. With certified airtightness, a diffusion-inhibiting layer (vapour barrier) can be dispensed with altogether. The elements are prefabricated at the factory, delivered to the construction site in entire wall sections and connected to each other. A wide variety of cladding can be applied on the outside and inside to meet the thermal insulation and design ideas. For building biology reasons, an installation level can be dispensed with and instead the inside of the solid wood elements can be designed in visual quality, or alternatively a lime or clay plaster can be applied.
