Light well, waterproof version

Light shaft that is sealed to the outside against pressing water (groundwater, flood, backwater).  The penetration of water is prevented both via the light shaft body and via the connection to the outer wall of the basement, which is sealed by means of sealing tapes, sealing lips and gluing. The light shaft complements the waterproof version of the basement construction (white and black tub). This makes it possible to open the basement window outside the light shaft regardless of the amount of water that accumulates. With the help of pressure-tight system insulation, watertight light shafts can also be installed on a basement wall with perimeter insulation.
