KS solid bricks are small-format masonry blocks made of sand-lime bricks with a maximum hole content of 15% of the cross-sectional area and a correspondingly high bulk density. As a "normal" standard solid brick, they are bricked with approx. 1 cm high bearing joints made of normal mortar, as a flat block with approx. 2 mm high bearing joints made of thin-bed mortar. In the case of solid bricks with a tongue and groove system on the front sides, butt joint mortar is usually not necessary.
Due to the even, small-scale joint pattern, small-format KS bricks are also particularly suitable as exposed masonry as well as for highly subdivided floor plans or in the course of existing renovations.
