Sand-lime brick, stone types according to DIN V 106

Solid brick: Small-format masonry block with a stone height ≤ 123 mm, its cross-section can be reduced by up to 15% by perforating perpendicular to the storage area.

Perforated stone: Small-format masonry block with a stone height ≤ 123 mm, its hole content is 15-50% of the cross-sectional area.

Block: Medium-format masonry block with a stone height of 123 mm, its cross-section can be reduced by up to 15% by perforating perpendicular to the storage area.

Hollow block: Medium-format masonry block with a stone height of 123 mm, its hole content is 15-50% of the cross-sectional area.

Flat block: Solid, perforated, block and hollow block block, which meets the increased requirements for flatness and plane parallelism of its bearing surfaces with low tolerances in height, and is suitable for bricking with thin-bed mortars.

Plan element: Large-format solid stone with stone height 248 mm and length ≥ 498 mm with a maximum hole share of 15% of the cross-sectional area. It meets increased requirements for flatness and plane parallelism of its bearing surfaces, with low tolerances in height. It is suitable for masonry with thin-bed mortars.

Fasenstein: Flat stone with chamfered edges, especially for the creation of exposed masonry, masonry with thin-bed mortar.

Building plate: Masonry block with stone height 248 mm with low tolerances in height. It is only suitable for non-load-bearing interior walls and can be equipped with a circumferential tongue-and-groove system.

KS facing brick: Frost-resistant masonry block with compressive strength class ≥ 10.

KS brick : Masonry block with compressive strength class ≥ 16, its requirements in terms of frost resistance and dimensional tolerances are higher than for KS facing bricks. It is made from selected raw materials.

Brick slip: sand-lime brick especially for cladding facades and walls. Its width varies from 10 mm to 90 mm. There are higher requirements for frost resistance than for KS bricks.
